MUSICIANS / SINGERS / SONGWRITERS / LYRICIST !!!
The Writers in Raritan has 2 great nights under it's belt.
Robert Ross - NYC
John Powers - Jersey
The Wiliamzboy - Philly
Bruce Jepson - Jersey
Peter Prasa - Jersey
The 1st had Robert Ross who wrote a big hit for Johnny Winters and shared the bill with Hendrix laid out a Blues set and 4 more outstanding performers of whom Bruce Jepson knocked it out of the park for me with his bluegrass set.
Last night:
George Wirth
Sheli Aarden
Michael Brett
Jo Wymer
Aster Pheonyx
5 Asbury Park Music Assoc. award nominees proved themselves more than worthy of their nomonations. The surprise was Aster Pheonyx a 20 year old tatooed billboard last up everybody thought was just there for the ride who blew everyone away. Sang, played, and wrote her compelling songs with lines and hooks that would pull in Moby Dick. Gonna be hard to top. If you's know any writers who'd like to come in let us know.
American Roots Live open mic has a new venue for Songwriter/Musicians in Raritan NJ at DeCicco's on Anderson St. every Wednesday from 8-12. Just turn off Rt 202 at Anderson St. and drive 3 blocks toward Main St. or only two blocks from the train station. Just get off of the train and head towards Main St and it right there. Contact

Welcome to AMUF.org!
Thank you for your interest in this fellowship, the music, and the information in these recordings. The dream behind this fellowship is to allow talented musicians and those who never find a way through the labrynth of the Recording Industry and Media to have a format for mass exposure of their talent. Therefore, a Musicians United Fellowship is needed to provide a meeting place to merge and create in a civilized enviroment. The Fellowship should also provide the public with an opportunity to enjoy our songs either through live perfomance or internet subscription.
As each Lodge is created, it's goal will be to provide recording areas and a Performance Showcase for Musicians. Each Lodge will operate under the rules of the Fellowship's Constitution, providing a civilized enviroment for members. Apprentices will be awarded a trial membership based on their musical ability and through a vote by senior members. Lodge Rulers will not govern but will be trusted servants and will be overseen by a board that will review grievances from each group's members should they occur.
If you are a musician and feel you have been blocked out of your right to be heard, join us in creating a "one musician, one vote" network that will unite musicians and give them control over their destinies rather than leave them at the mercy of the America hating Media Moguls of New York and Hollywood.
